The Men's Auxilary at our post has generously donated $250 to the fund for JR's troop in Iraq. They have been very supportive of all of our activities and this donation was greatly appreciated. This brings the total money donated to $569.00. We are well on the way in raising money for our troop in Iraq.

Our Ladies' Auxiliary has "adopted" a Civil Affairs Reserve unit currently serving in Iraq. The unit is commanded by our Post's former Treasurer, JR Walters. Donations may be made at the post in our contribution boxes where a picture of JR's unit is posted. Funds will be used to send care packages to the unit throughout the year; the packages will contain items that are not readily available to the unit members during their deployment. This is a good opportunity to support not only our troops serving overseas, but also on of our local members. Any assistance you can give will be greatly appreciated not only by the Ladies Auxiliary, but also by JR's unit.
